1.22.2007 Hopes & Dreams

It is easy to support the dreams of my children when they dream those dreams tucked safely under our roof at night.

I pray for strength to stand by my conviction that I will support them so they chase their dreams even when it is difficult. To allow them to take risks. To follow their heart's desires. To go down an unknown path. To seek their own truth.

For their life dreams are not those that I secretly think about as I hold them safely in my arms.

Their dreams are their own.

My hope is that I have nurtured their souls in such a way that there is no question but to follow them.
